Tomorrow our first delivery of fruits and veggies arrives…
Tomorrow marks our first delivery of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables from Timber Creek Farms.
Cricket over at Being Booga had a post not so far back that talked about food co-ops. I had looked into doing this when we lived in Springfield, but since moving up to Chicago, I completely forgot about it. Then my friend Mary was talking about TCF and I thought, why not?
It also helps that our kitchen is now 89% functional. Thanks to the holiday weekend, and the hubby, the stove is installed, the microwave range hood is installed and our new cast iron sink is nearly installed. Unfortunately, the cast iron sink is darn heavy, and it was dropped on the very edge of our counter top (yeah, the ones with concrete), and we have to touch up the area around the sink.
I hope to update soon with some Ikea Hacker type projects using the 2 Malm dressers that did not fare well in the move(s). I am thinking of using the sides of the dressers as “frames” for an art project utilizing some photography, screws, washers and plexiglass. More to come…
